What do we know about rewards based on these Scriptures?
Matt. 6:19-20 / I Cor.3: & 3:12-15 / II Cor. 5:10

I Corinthians 15

Vs. 1-2
-We have received it~are we standing in it?
-Saved from what by persevering? Saved from the domination of sin.

Vs. 3-4
-This is the gospel!
-Christ died for our sins!
-Raised as a receipt~demonstrates a worthy payment!
-According to the Scriptures: Acts 13:32-39

Vs. 5-7
-God allowed there to be many witnesses to aid our belief.
-note: the stone was rolled away for this reason~not because Christ needed it gone!

Vs. 8-11
-Pauls perspective~not forgetting where he came from and who he was outside of Christ, but at the same time acknowledging the power of Gods grace.
-The grace of God produces motivation
-Tell others (Rom. 10:14)

Vs.12-19
-There was false teaching about the resurrection of Christ!
-Name the results ~~if Christ was not raised then~~ in this section of Scripture.
-Why would we be pitied?

Vs. 20
-Firstfruits=down payment / *prototype*~Idea of a more crops to come (see vs. 36-44)

Vs. 21-22
-Adam brought death to all men
-Christ the Man/God~~brings (begins the hope of ) resurrection
-Christ brings life to all who believe (are in Him)

Vs. 23
The order of resurrections~
1st=Christ
2nd=Believers (in two parts) KNOWN AS THE 1st RESURRECTION (Rev 20:5)
*Part 1= Dead believers of the church age & Living saints
When: Before the Tribulation
Scripture: 1 Thes. 4
**Part 2=Old Testament believers & Tribulation Saints
When: End of the Tribulation
Scripture: Dan. 12 / Rev 20:5

Vs. 24
-Then~~after the 1000 year reign of Christ on earth (millennium)
-Unbelievers will be raised for the 2nd death (Rev. 20:7-14)
-Christ will hand over His kingdom to God

Vs. 25-28
-Christ will rule all, yet He will subject Himself to the Father.

Vs. 29
-Not teaching baptism for the dead!
-Speaking of saints taking the place of older dying generations
-In other words~~Why continue on generation after generation in the Christian faith?

Vs. 30-34
-Why suffer if there is no future hope?

Vs. 35-44
-The new body as compared to a plant~but even beyond the realm of science.

Vs. 45-50
-Physical life was given to all mankind through Adam
-Spiritual life is given through Jesus Christ
-Are you experiencing the life of Christ?
-Only those things done in/through Christ will pass into heaven (vs. 50)

Vs. 51-55
-Death does not end things! It is simply the starting point!

Vs. 56
-Law stirs up sin~then sin brings death

Vs. 57
-BUT! Thanks be to God who gives us victory through Jesus Christ!

Vs. 58
-THEREFORE!!~~live right~~knowing (based on Christ resurrection) that there is much more to come!
